Wedding Night Intimate Lingerie
Even though the old tradition of a truly "white" wedding may no longer exist for most couples, your wedding night is still an experience you will want to celebrate with passion and flair. What better way to spice things up than by adding some wedding night lingerie? For some ladies, this may even be their first time wearing lingerie. Have no fear; we have some tips to set you on the right track!
Fabric and Color One of the first things you have to decide is if you want to continue in the white trend that engulfs most weddings. Much of the lingerie marketed specifically as wedding lingerie is white, which is especially flattering on darker skin tones. If you are very pale try finding ivory lingerie, which isn't as stark. Or, you could just throw tradition out the window and wear a blazing red teddy; it's really up to you! As far as fabric goes you have a plethora of choices, though lace is going to be the most common. If you feel uncomfortable in see-through lingerie there are still plenty of other options, such as silk or satin, which are equally sexy. Cut There are many styles of lingerie, ranging from the teddy to the babydoll to the chemise. If you prefer a more romantic or vintage look try a long chemise, perhaps made out of revealing lace. The babydoll offers some coverage, but is loosely tied and flies open with a whisper of wind. The teddy is more form fitting, almost like a corset. Which style you choose is up to you and your personal tastes. Confidence What's the most important accessory to bring to your wedding night lingerie? Confidence! It's ok if you're not perfect, we are all human. But if you truly believe in your sexy self, then you'll be unstoppable. Good luck picking out the perfect wedding night lingerie, and don't forget to have fun! |
