| Caring for Vinyl Lingerie |
Vinyl Lingerie is Relatively Easy to Care forWashingAfter wearing, vinyl material lingerie can simply be washed with mild soap and water. Washing by hand is the best method. Washing machines can cause too much abrasion and scratches or scuffing. Simply use a soft cloth to wash by hand. Liquid soap is preferable to powder, again to help reduce as much friction as possible. Rinse well and then hang to dry. Because vinyl is a form of plastic, the exposed sides will dry, but areas which are not open to the air will not dry as readily. A good practice is to first let the lingerie dry inside out, and then once it is dry, turn right side out and let those surfaces dry thoroughly. Scratches are a No-NoWhen wearing your vinyl lingerie, stay away from any other props or objects which have sharp edges. Etches or scratches are permanent and the look of your vinyl lingeries will be marred. Store SeparatelyAfter the pieces have been cleaned and dried, it’s best to store them in separate garment bags, especially vinyls with different colors. The colors can bleed into one another, and the last thing you want on your white vinyl bustier is bright red blotches. Keep out of the SunSunlight can ‘bleach’ colors. Plastic vinyls are not immune to this. So avoid keeping your vinyl lingerie costumes and other pieces in areas with windows or any other form of direct sunlight. Follow Manufacturer’s InstructionsSome products differ in their composition and materials. Always read the recommended instructions from the manufacturer and follow those above all others for their specific products. Lingerie in vinyl comes in many shapes and sizes. From corsets to bras to bustiers to miniskirts to costumes, you can enjoy the look of vinyl in many ways. Other items you might be interested in: Very Revealing Lingerie , Teddie Lingerie Quality |
